PLANNING
MIB has been involved in giving advice to GCC countries in relation to the development of visa policy, advocating a risk-based approach to improvements in visa processes to enhance customer experience whilst maintaining security and integrity of borders.

MIB has provided SME expertise to multi-national organizations in relation to migration and visa policy, international benchmarking, passenger profiling and risk management.
STRATEGY
MIB was involved in developing strategy for a Ministry in a Middle East country identifying solutions to deal with undocumented migrants, stateless persons and children born into statelessness.

MIB conducted border surveys of countries in the Levant and North Africa to identify equipment and training needs to strengthen capabilities in relation to security, counter terrorism and counter migrant smuggling/ trafficking.
RESULTS
MIB has delivered ongoing coaching to Immigration officers involved in developing advanced passenger profiling capabilities in a GCC country, to develop meaningful passenger profiles to combat immigration-related crime.

MIB created and delivered a series of twelve one hour webinars, and face-to-face workshops, on behalf of UN Office on Drugs and Crime, to develop knowledge and capabilities in relation to API/ PNR passenger risk assessment for a country in the Middle East .
